Telltale Games Interview Up At GameSetWatch

Posted on Wednesday 14 June 2006

I’ve been working on an interview with the guys at Telltale Games for a while now, but it’s done, and up at GameSetWatch, as is suggested by the headline. I spoke to their CEO, Dan Connors, and the senior designer on the new Sam & Max game, Dave Grossman. This was pretty exciting for a number of reasons - firstly, they’re making a new Sam & Max game, and I got to talk to them.

Secondly, the name “Dave Grossman” might be familiar to more than a few people; he wrote and programmed The Secret of Monkey Island and The Secret of Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge along with Tim Schafer and Ron Gilbert.

If the interview hadn’t been done via email, and through Telltale’s lovely web marketing co-ordinator, I would have been well beyond starstruck.

That’s not to take anything away from Dan Connors though - he worked on Sam & Max Hit The Road, which would normally be more than enough to send me into weird fanboy convulsions, but…DAVE FREAKING GROSSMAN

Anyway, enough talking from me. I’m mostly just posting this as an excuse to have a big picture of Sam & Max on the site. Get your arse over to GameSetWatch and read the damn thing.
