I try hard not to make Little Mathletics exactly the same as every other “here are some screens from the new Mortal Kombat game I stole from GameSpot” blog out there, but I can’t resist posting stuff from the new Sam & Max game at any and every opportunity, and these new screens are pretty cool. So is this: the first in a series named “Meet the Neighbours”, which profiles the inhabitants of Sam and Max’s world. Radness.
Some of you may remember my interview with Telltale from waaaaay back in June (doesn’t time fly?), and my subsequent hyperbolic excitement when I learnt that Dave Grossman had answered some of the questions. Of course, that was nothing compared to Frank Cifaldi’s sit-down chat with the man, or Chris Kohler’s visit to Telltale HQ - though he was similarly excited upon realising Grossman was responsible for the hilarious Sierra parody in Monkey Island: “Well, shit. I was only sitting right across from him. At a table.”
By the way - and this is a pretty severe digression, but bear with me, because it excites me a lot - I went back to the homeland of country Victoria a little while back, and found this bad-boy in my old bedroom. Original 5.25″ disk box of Money Island? Yes. Yes it is. With all the documents - with the unfortunate exception of the password wheel, which my cat threw up on when I was 10.
