Barrie Ellis Says: Time To Play!

Posted on Saturday 2 September 2006

I got an email from Barrie Ellis late last night - you might remember Barrie from the Retro Remakes Competition which began a few months back. He was brought on as accessibility advisor, and wanted to let me know that now that the competition is over, with 73+ games up on the Retro Remakes site, he’s after the views of disabled gamers on the results.

I’ve not yet had the time to check out the results of the competition other than briefly scanning through the screenshots, but it does look like there’s some pretty amazing stuff. Congratulations to everyone who got their games in on time, and especially to everyone who put some real effort in to make their titles fit in with the criteria. I’m certainly looking forward to seeing the winners of this year’s competition.
