David Kazim Interview At GameSetWatch

Posted on Saturday 2 September 2006

I’ve just done an interview with one Mr. David Kazim, the Event Director for the GO3 Electronic Expo 2007, which is going to be held in Perth, Western Australia, next year. It sounds like it could be an interesting event - with the emphasis on “could”. It’s obviously a little soon to be able to say whether the event will be as big as Kazim clearly hopes it will be. That said, I’d really love for Australia to have a world class games expo, since I’m not really in a position where I’m able to travel to other countries for their events. Plus, I’m proud of the Australian industry, and I’d love to see it go further.

I realise there’s already more than a few “games shows” round the place, but the biggest of them is only a side-show to a car expo, so it’s hardly of the ilk of something like GDC. That’s why I’m glad that Kazim and his team are aiming so high with this one. I look forward to seeing how well they pull it off.
